Summary: A group of people from Dornakal challenged the government's plan to widen a road without giving them proper notice. The court extended a previous order, temporarily stopping the road work.

Residents vs. Road Widening

In September 2015, a group of people from Dornakal, a village in Warangal District, brought their concerns to the High Court of Hyderabad. They were upset because the government decided to make an internal road wider from Old Dornakal to the Railway Station. The issue? The government didn't tell them about it or follow the proper steps!

The Petitioners Speak Up

The group, led by Patny Umarao Bhai and others, argued that marking their houses for the road work was unfair. They pointed out that there was already a 100-foot bypass road. So, why bother with their homes? They wanted the court to stop the road-widening plan.

Court's Temporary Relief

Judge A.V. Sesha Sai was in charge. He listened to what both sides had to say. The residents' lawyer, Sri Namavarapu Rajeshwara Rao, argued strongly against the road work. Meanwhile, the government had its own lawyers defending the plan.

The court had already given a temporary order on July 2, 2015, to pause the road work. On September 7, 2015, Judge Sai extended this pause for another three weeks. The case was set to be discussed again on September 28, 2015.

"The temporary order given earlier on 02-07-2015 is extended for another three weeks from today."

What’s Next?

The court's decision gave residents a temporary break. But the big question remained: Would the road work continue, or would the residents get their way? The case was marked for further orders on September 28, 2015, so everyone was eager to see what would happen next.

In the meantime, the residents of Dornakal could relax a bit, knowing they had some time before any changes would happen.
