Here's the scoop: A court case involving a public toilet, a reserved piece of land, and some claimed rule-breaking just got wrapped up. Let's break it down!

The Case: Public Toilet on Reserved Land

Mrs. G. Banumathi filed a complaint against Mr. Sivaguru Prabhakaran, a government officer. She claimed that a public toilet was being built on land set aside for open space, which isn't allowed. The court had earlier stopped any construction with a temporary order on March 25, 2025.

"A public toilet is being constructed in the land reserved under the open space reservation category."

The Alleged Rule-Breaking

Mrs. Banumathi believed that the construction continued despite the court's order. So, she took the matter back to court, hoping for some action against Mr. Prabhakaran.

The Court's Findings: No Rule-Breaking Here

When the case was heard, Mr. D. Ferdinand, the lawyer for Mr. Prabhakaran, showed geotagged photos from March 25 and July 14, 2025. These photos proved that no further construction happened after the court's order.

"The photographs point out that no further construction has taken place after the order has been passed by this Court."

The Verdict: Case Closed

Justice V. Lakshminarayanan decided there was no disobedience of the court's order since the construction had stopped as instructed. So, the case was closed on September 22, 2025.

And that's how this public toilet situation ended with a simple "case closed." Sometimes, a picture really is worth a thousand words!
