"The permissions granted are in violation of RPG-2021 and the Biological Diversity Act, 2000," the petitioners stated.
Judges Bharati Dangre and Nivedita P. Mehta were in charge of the case. They found that the building was not allowed and ordered that the structures be torn down. The court stressed the importance of keeping the natural environment safe and following land use rules.
"In view of the violations, the construction license is quashed, and the land must be restored," the judgment declared.
