In a recent case, two students who missed the enrollment for the MBBS/BDS courses under the Management Quota "B" and "C"/NRI categories have been given a chance to explain their situation. The court, led by Chief Justice Sri Aparesh Kumar Singh and Justice G.M. Mohiuddin, has allowed them to submit a request to the university.

The Students' Request

Peddapuram Sankeerthana, an 18-year-old student, along with another student, filed requests in court. They wanted permission to sign up online and join the counseling process for the academic year 2025-2026. Their lawyer, Sri L. Ram Singh, argued that the students missed signing up by mistake and should be allowed to do it now.

University’s Position

The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, represented by lawyer Sri Ravi, understood the situation. They agreed that if the students submitted a request, the university would handle it according to the rules.

"If the students submit a request about their issue, the university will handle it according to the rules."

Court's Decision

The court decided to give the students a chance to present their case to the university. The university must respond within two days. The court made it clear that it wasn't deciding whether the students were right or wrong.

Quick Resolution

The court's decision is a relief for the students. They now have a chance to explain their situation to the university. This quick action by the court ensures that the students’ academic year is not wasted.

"The requests are closed with the option for the students to submit a request to the University about their issue."

Summary of the Verdict

The court has allowed the students to submit a request to the university to explain why they missed the registration deadline. The university is required to respond within two days, giving the students a chance to continue their education without losing a year.
