Quick Summary: A notice to stop Boda Raj Shekar, a software engineer living in Australia, from leaving the country has been put on hold by Judge N.V. Shravan Kumar. This allows him to visit India because of family health problems. The case involves accusations of cheating, cruelty, and issues related to dowry.
Boda Raj Shekar, who has lived in Australia since 2006, got into legal trouble when a notice was issued to stop him from leaving the country. This was because of accusations made under laws related to cheating, cruelty, and dowry. His wife, Smt. Kasarla Sushma, filed the complaint.
"The notice has been causing significant problems," said Boda Raj Shekar.
The case, labeled as C.C.No.770 of 2022, is still ongoing in the local court at Bhongir. Boda Raj Shekar's father, Boda Muthaiah, has been trying to get this notice removed by contacting the police several times.
Boda Raj Shekar needs to urgently visit India because his mother has been diagnosed with cancer. He promised the court that he would participate in the legal process and even showed his one-way plane ticket from Sydney to Hyderabad.
"I will cooperate with the court whenever they need me," Boda Raj Shekar stated in a written statement.
Judge N.V. Shravan Kumar agreed to pause the notice stopping him from leaving the country for four weeks, from October 22 to November 22, 2025. This decision was made after government lawyers and other representatives said they had no objections.
Boda Raj Shekar plans to ask the trial court for permission to return to Sydney after his visit. The court's decision is a temporary relief, allowing him to take care of his family while making sure he will be present for future legal matters.
The case continues, but this decision offers a short break in the ongoing legal issues.
