Quick Summary: M Jalapathi and M Ravinder, two brothers from Bommakal Village, went to court over a land issue. They wanted to correct a wrong survey number in official records. After several ignored requests, the court provided a solution.

The Land Purchase and Mix-Up

Back in 1997, Smt. Juvineni Laxmi bought land in Bommakal Village. She later sold parts of it to the Jalapathi brothers in 2001. But there was a problem: the survey number in the old documents was wrong. It showed as 144/C instead of 144/A. This mistake caused a lot of trouble.

"The survey number is wrongly mentioned as 144/C instead of Sy.No.144/A."

Repeated Requests Ignored

The brothers tried to get this fixed by sending requests to the local authorities. They sent multiple requests from 2021 to 2025. Unfortunately, the officials at the Revenue Department didn't respond.

Court Steps In

Frustrated, the brothers filed a legal request. Justice K. Lakshman heard the case. The judge pointed out that the brothers needed to submit an online application as per the Telangana Bhu Bharati Rules, 2025. The person in charge is supposed to handle such requests within 30 days.

"The Competent Authority shall complete the entire exercise within thirty (30) days."

Final Decision

The court decided the case with these instructions. The brothers were told to follow the new rules and submit their application online. The court made it clear that if the authorities reject the request, they must provide reasons.

Justice K. Lakshman wrapped up the case on August 21, 2025, with no extra costs involved.

"Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending shall stand closed."

This case shows how important accurate land records are and the challenges people face when things go wrong.
