Summary: A long-standing land dispute case in Telangana has been withdrawn after the parties settled their differences. The case was dismissed by Justice E.V. Venugopal.

The Case and the Parties Involved

This case, known as Writ Petition No. 20053 of 2021, involved Mr. Samineni Sreenivasa Rao, a government teacher, as the person who brought the case to court. He was up against several people, including the State of Telangana, the Special Tribunal, and other local government officials, specifically The District Collector, The Revenue Divisional Officer, The Tahsildar, Smt. Paladugu Laxmi, and Smt. Kunuguntla Shirisha.

Settlement Before Lok Adalat

When the case was taken up, the petitioner's lawyer, Mr. Kandula Naresh, informed the court that the issue had been resolved outside of court. The parties settled their differences in the Lok Adalat, which is a platform in India where people can solve their disputes without going to court.

"The issue in this case does not need to be decided in court as the parties... settled their issues before the Lok Adalat."

Court's Decision

Justice E.V. Venugopal allowed the withdrawal of the case. As a result, the case was dismissed. Any other pending requests related to the case were also closed.

The case was officially closed after the parties resolved their differences through the Lok Adalat, showing how effective alternative ways of solving disputes can be in resolving legal issues peacefully.
