In a recent court case, the hiring of an Anganwadi Teacher in Gollapalli LT Village, Medak District, was questioned. The court has now asked officials to take another look at the decision.
The case involves Smt J Shobha, who is currently an Anganwadi Teacher, and Smt Guglothu Anjali, who challenged Shobha's appointment because she claims to have higher grades. The case was heard by Chief Justice Sri Aparesh Kumar Singh and Justice G.M. Mohiuddin.
Smt Guglothu Anjali argued that she had better grades than Smt J Shobha and should have been chosen for the job. The court looked into the hiring process, which was supposed to follow certain rules outlined in a notice from June 2017.
"The court, after hearing both sides, decided that the officials should take another look at the decision."
The court told the officials to reconsider Smt J Shobha's appointment and make sure they follow the rules. They were also instructed to listen to both sides before making a decision. The court emphasized the need to be fair and just.
Smt J Shobha, worried about losing her job, filed an appeal. Her lawyer asked the court to wait for the officials' decision on Smt Guglothu Anjali's complaint. The court agreed to this but said Smt J Shobha could challenge any negative decision.
"The appeal may be put on hold until the officials make a decision on the complaint."
Smt Guglothu Anjali's lawyer complained that the process was taking too long, and they even filed a petition saying the delay was unfair. However, the court decided not to step in for now.
For now, the court has sent the case back to the officials to make a fair decision. If anyone is unhappy with the final decision, they can challenge it.
"The case is closed for now. There will be no costs ordered."
This case highlights the importance of fair hiring processes and the role of the courts in ensuring justice.
