Summary: A court has ordered the tearing down of a function hall that was built without permission in Panthini Village. The hall was constructed by Smt. Merugu Marudhwathi without the necessary approvals.

Petitioners Demand Action

Errabelli Venkateshwara Rao and Karimilla Vikram Rao, both farmers from Panthini Village, filed a request with the court. They asked the court to tell the local authorities to tear down a function hall built by Smt. Merugu Marudhwathi. The hall was reportedly built on public land without any permission.

Previous Court Order Ignored

This isn't the first time Errabelli Venkateshwara Rao and Karimilla Vikram Rao have tried to do something about this. They previously filed a case, which led to a court order on March 5, 2025. The order told the authorities to look into and act on the complaint from January 18, 2024. Notices were sent to Smt. Merugu Marudhwathi in June 2025, but nothing happened.

"The complaint of the petitioner is that even after sending notices on 04.06.2025 and 25.06.2025, no action has been taken as required by the order dated 05.03.2025."

Court's New Directive

Judge B. Vijaysen Reddy was in charge of the current case. The court told the local authorities to follow up on the previous notices and remove the unauthorized building. They have four weeks from getting the court order to do this.

No Further Delays

The court stressed that the order was given without going into the details of the case. Smt. Merugu Marudhwathi was not sent a new notice because the old ones were considered enough.

"This case is closed with the instruction that respondent No.5 should take the necessary action based on the notices dated 04.06.2025 and 25.06.2025."

In summary, the court has made it clear that the illegal building should be taken down, and Errabelli Venkateshwara Rao and Karimilla Vikram Rao's long-standing issue might finally be resolved.
