Sudhakar decided to fight back by filing a formal complaint. His main argument was that the authorities didn't follow the proper steps set by the government order from January 2015. He wanted the court to tell the authorities to give his tractor back.
Sudhakar's lawyer pointed out a similar case from earlier in 2025, where the court had ruled in favor of the person who complained. He urged the court to apply the same decision to Sudhakar's case.
Justice N.V. Shravan Kumar heard the case and agreed with Sudhakar's argument. The judge instructed Sudhakar to submit a request to the District Collector with all necessary documents. The Collector was then directed to resolve the issue within two weeks, following Rule 12 of the 2015 Rules.
"This complaint is resolved in terms of the previous order," stated Justice N.V. Shravan Kumar.
