Here's a quick rundown: A contempt case was filed because an earlier court order wasn't followed. But in the end, it got closed because Rajula Mallaiah, Rajula Venkanna, and Rajula Katama Raju didn’t show up, and the court found everything was already sorted out.
The case was brought by Rajula Mallaiah, Rajula Venkanna, and Rajula Katama Raju. They wanted to start contempt proceedings against Mr. Tejas Nandlal Pawar, the District Collector of Suryapet. They claimed he didn't follow a court order from March 20, 2024.
On August 14, 2025, the court took up the case, but no one represented Rajula Mallaiah, Rajula Venkanna, and Rajula Katama Raju. The case was moved to August 22, 2025. Again, no one showed up, neither in person nor online.
Ms. T. Sweccha, the Assistant Government Lawyer for Revenue, explained that Rajula Mallaiah, Rajula Venkanna, and Rajula Katama Raju had submitted an online application back in October 2017. The authorities had followed all the legal steps and issued an E-Pattadar Pass Book to them. This meant they had followed the court's orders.
"The respondent authorities... issued E-Pattadar Pass Book in favour of petitioners and complied with the orders of this Court."
Justice J. Sreenivas Rao decided that since the orders were followed and Rajula Mallaiah, Rajula Venkanna, and Rajula Katama Raju didn’t show up, there was no need for further action. The contempt case was closed with no costs ordered.
"In view of the above said submissions, this Court is of the considered view that no further adjudication is required."
The case was concluded without any additional actions needed.
