Recently, Judge Tirumala Devi Eada rejected a request by M A Asghar Hussain Mujahi to stop the legal case against him related to land fraud. The case involves serious claims of pretending to be someone else and faking documents.
M A Asghar Hussain Mujahi was accused of pretending to be the real owner of a property and making fake documents. The prosecutors said he sold six pieces of land using these fake papers, trying to trick the buyer.
"The person has registered six plots by pretending to be the real owner," said the Additional Public Prosecutor.
Mujahi's defense said the claims were not true. His lawyer argued that Mujahi had sold the land legally in 2009 and 2010, and the buyer was happy back then. The defense suggested that the buyer's current complaints were false and only brought up years after the original sale.
The prosecutors showed evidence suggesting that Mujahi and others worked together to make fake documents. The charge sheet said the land in question was 1519 square yards and located in Mailardevpally Village.
"The prosecutors have talked to witnesses and also collected documents as evidence," noted the court.
After looking at the evidence, Judge Tirumala Devi Eada decided that the case should not be stopped. The judge said the claims needed to be examined during a trial. However, Mujahi doesn't have to be in court unless specifically needed.
The court's decision means that the legal case against M A Asghar Hussain Mujahi will keep going. The trial will look more closely at the evidence to see if the charges against him are true.
