Summary: A 73-year-old farmer, Edara Reuben Reddy, says he owns a piece of land in Telangana. Even though he asked to update the land records, nothing happened. The court told him to apply online to change the records.

The Land Ownership Claim

Edara Reuben Reddy, an older farmer from Sangareddy District, Telangana, believes he owns a piece of land that is 2.01 acres big. He has a sale document from 2017 to prove it.

"The land is in Nandikandi Village, Sadasivapet Mandal," he says.

Attempts to Update Records

Reddy tried twice to get his name officially recorded as the landowner. He sent written requests on July 16 and July 28, 2025, to the District Collector and the local revenue officer. But they didn't reply.

Court's Decision

Judge K. Lakshman handled the case. The court said Reddy needs to send an application online according to the Telangana Bhu Bharati Rules, 2025. This is needed for the officials to consider his request.

"Send an online application with all the needed documents," the court advised.

Next Steps for Reddy

The court allowed Reddy to apply online to change his name in the land records. The responsible authority will look at his application and consider any reasons for delays.

Reddy's journey to officially secure his land ownership continues, with the court instructing him to use the online application process.
