In a recent court decision, the request made by the family of the late B. Venkat Reddy was turned down. The case is about a disagreement over land in Narayanpet, Telangana.
The problem started when B. Venkat Reddy filed a lawsuit back in 2006 against B. Narsimha Reddy and others. Unfortunately for B. Venkat Reddy, the case was dismissed in 2016. The people asking for the court's help, including B. Satyanarayana Reddy, B. Amruthamma, B. Anil Kumar Reddy, B. Sirisha, and Swathi, filed a request to stop any sales or changes to the disputed land. They wanted to declare the actions of the local official, who was allowing these sales or changes, as wrong. However, Justice K. Lakshman turned down this request.
"The petitioners are trying to get an order which they could not get in the earlier challenge."
Justice Lakshman advised B. Satyanarayana Reddy and the others to continue with their ongoing challenge and related request. He allowed them to keep trying these legal options and to contact the right authorities for action once they get a decision.
"Permission is given to the petitioners to continue with the said related request in A.S.No.2 of 2017."
While the request has been turned down, B. Satyanarayana Reddy and his family still have a way forward. They can continue their legal fight through the ongoing challenge and request. For now, the land disagreement is still not settled, and the family must wait for more legal steps to find out what will happen.
