In a recent court decision, Judge Nagesh Bheemapaka closed a case involving the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). The case was about GHMC officials allegedly not following a court order from 2024.

The Allegation: Not Following Court Orders

M H Amjed, the person who filed the case, accused GHMC officials of purposely ignoring a court order dated October 28, 2024. The order required the officials to give specific information that Amjed had asked for.

Respondent's Defense: We Did What Was Asked

B Rama Rao, the Executive Engineer at GHMC, argued that they did follow the court's order. He said they sent the requested information to Amjed on February 3, 2025, through registered mail, and it was delivered.

"The 4th respondent had furnished information as sought for by the petitioner... through registered post and the same was delivered."

Petitioner's Reply: Not Good Enough

Even though he got the documents, Amjed said the information was incomplete and not sent on time. This led to more legal discussions.

Court's Decision: Case Closed

Judge Nagesh Bheemapaka decided that since the information was eventually provided and delivered, the case should be closed. The court acknowledged the delay but noted that it wasn't done on purpose.

"This Contempt Case is closed. No order as to costs."

Final Thoughts: What's Next?

The court suggested that if Amjed was still unhappy with the information he received, he should consider appealing. With the case closed, any other pending requests were also dismissed.

This case shows how important it is to follow court orders on time and what legal steps can be taken if someone is not satisfied with the response.
