Quick Summary: KRN and Co. wanted to join a bidding process but needed certain certificates. After filing a request with the court, the certificates were issued, and the case was closed.

The Petitioner's Request

KRN and Co., led by its Managing Partner K.R.N. Ramesh, filed a request with the court. They wanted the court to tell the Divisional Engineer to give them a Work Site Inspection Certificate and a Working Condition of Plants and Machineries Certificate. These were needed to take part in a bidding process organized by the Superintending Engineer.

The Tender Dilemma

The problem came up because KRN and Co. couldn't upload their bidding documents without these certificates. They asked the court for another option: to allow them to submit their documents without the certificates.

"Alternatively, KRN and Co. wants the Superintending Engineer to accept the bidding documents... without requiring these certificates."

Court Proceedings

During the hearing, Mr. P. Ganapathi Subramanian spoke for KRN and Co., while Mr. Veera Kathiravan, the Additional Advocate General, represented the Superintending Engineer. The court found out that the necessary certificates were given on the same day as the hearing.

Case Closure

Justice M. Dhandapani closed the case since the problem was solved. The certificates were issued, making the request unnecessary. The related extra requests were also closed without any additional costs.

This resolution allowed KRN and Co. to go ahead with their participation in the bidding process without any more legal obstacles.
