A family from Karimnagar and others have finally reached an agreement over an accident case. Here’s what happened.
Back in Karimnagar, the family of Mekala Laxmi Rajeshwari was involved in a legal fight after an accident. The family included Laxmi, her son Satish, and two younger children, Swapana and Ramesh. They were dealing with M. Narasimha, the owner of a truck, and two insurance companies: ICICI Lombard and New India Assurance.
The case was about getting money because of the accident. The family had to go through a lot, including legal actions against M. Narasimha and the insurance companies. It was a tough time for them, especially since two of the family members were kids.
Finally, the case was brought before the Lok Adalat, a place where problems can be solved quickly and peacefully. On September 13, 2025, both sides agreed to a settlement. Justice C.V. Bhaskar Reddy was in charge of this process and confirmed the agreement.
“The matter was settled before the Lok Adalat and an award was passed.”
With the settlement in place, the case was officially closed. This means the family can now move on without more legal troubles. Justice Reddy also mentioned that any pending requests related to this case are now finished.
The judge made it clear that there would be no extra costs for either side. This decision helps ensure that the family doesn’t have to worry about more financial problems.
This settlement brings relief to the Mekala family and shows how Lok Adalat can be a helpful way to solve problems without long court battles.
