Hyderabad Court: Businessman's Complaint on Illegal Building Must Be Addressed

In a recent decision, the court told the authorities to deal with complaints about illegal building on government land near Saibaba Temple in Hyderabad. Judge Suddala Chalapathi Rao stressed the importance of taking action quickly and following the rules.

Complaint from the Person Who Filed the Case

T Arun Prakash, a businessman from Hyderabad, filed a formal request. He said that the authorities ignored his complaints about an illegal building project taking over government land at 7-1-351, near Saibaba Temple, Balkampet.

Court's Instructions to Authorities

On December 6, 2013, the court told the Commissioner of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation to address Arun Prakash's complaints. The officials were given 30 days to respond and inform him about what they did.

"The Commissioner of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation shall follow the proper legal steps by giving proper notice to T Arun Prakash and everyone involved while dealing with the issues raised by T Arun Prakash."

Actions That Need to Be Taken

Judge Rao repeated that the authorities must act on the temporary order from WPMP No.43638 of 2003. The authorities were reminded to follow the rules and inform all involved parties about any actions taken.

Result of the Case

The formal request was settled with the above instructions, and no costs were ordered. Any pending additional requests were closed.
