In a recent court decision, a legal request was dismissed after Rajesh Kumar, the person who filed it, decided to take it back. The case involved some questions about orders that were claimed to be illegal and against the rules of the Constitution.

What Was the Petition About?

Rajesh Kumar, represented by his lawyer Sri M. Uma Shankar, filed a legal request asking the court to declare certain orders as invalid and illegal. These orders were said to go against certain rights in the Indian Constitution that protect people's freedom to work and own property. Rajesh Kumar wanted the court to issue a command to a government official to do their job correctly.

Orders in Question

The orders being questioned were identified by their reference numbers: ZD3612230353830, ZD361223035734J, and ZD361223035746E, all dated December 19, 2023. Rajesh Kumar claimed these orders were made without proper authority and were unfair.

Withdrawal of the Petition

During the court proceedings, Rajesh Kumar’s lawyer asked for permission to take back the legal request. The court, led by Chief Justice Sri Aparesh Kumar Singh and Justice G.M. Mohiuddin, agreed to this request. They allowed Rajesh Kumar the option to file a new legal request if needed.

"The legal request is, therefore, dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty."

No Costs Involved

The court ended the case without making Rajesh Kumar pay any costs. Additionally, any other related applications were closed.

In summary, the court allowed Rajesh Kumar to withdraw his request and did not charge him any costs, leaving him free to consider other options in the future.
