Summary: A land dispute in Bahapur, New Delhi, involving Manish Aggarwal and others against Ram Narayan Pandey and others, has reached a settlement for most parties. However, one person still seeks justice.
This case started when Manish Aggarwal and others bought a 450 sq. yard plot in Bahapur, Tehsil Kalkaji, New Delhi. They faced problems because only 270 sq. yards were handed over. On January 21, 2026, the Delhi High Court, with Judge Mini Pushkarna, looked at the settlement agreement dated September 24, 2025.
Manish Aggarwal and others wanted the remaining 180 sq. yards. This land was part of a larger 900 sq. yard plot owned by Ram Narayan Pandey. On March 29, 2022, some people involved in the case switched sides, making things more complicated.
The settlement, helped by the Delhi High Court Mediation Centre, involved Manish Aggarwal and others with Ram Narayan Pandey and his group. Manish Aggarwal and others received the full 450 sq. yards they claimed.
"The people who filed the case have now got possession of their full land measuring 450 sq. yards."
Defendant No. 7 didn't agree with the settlement, claiming 150 sq. yards of the land still in Ram Narayan Pandey's possession. He argued that his rights were compromised as he was not present during the settlement.
Judge Pushkarna noted that Defendant No. 7 needs to prove his claim in a legal way. The court allowed Manish Aggarwal and others to drop the case based on the settlement.
"Defendant No. 7 is free to seek his remedies, in accordance with law."
This case shows how complicated land disputes can become, especially when multiple people and claims are involved.
