Judge Tirumala Devi Eada has told three people, Ravi Kumar, Suresh Menon, and Anjali Patel, to work with the police investigation. They have to go to the Bowenpally Police Station for questioning.

What's the Case About?

Ravi Kumar, Suresh Menon, and Anjali Patel are involved in Case No. 454 of 2025. They are facing charges under certain sections of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023. These charges could lead to a punishment of less than seven years.

Court's Decision

Judge Tirumala Devi Eada decided not to go into the details of the case. Instead, she told Ravi Kumar, Suresh Menon, and Anjali Patel to show up before the officer in charge by November 21, 2025, between 11:00 a.m. and 05:00 p.m.

"The Court directs the petitioners to cooperate with the investigation," said Judge Tirumala Devi Eada.

Follow the Rules

The police must follow Section 35(3) of the BNSS during the investigation. This is similar to the old Section 41-A of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973. The police should also follow guidelines from the Supreme Court case Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar.

Cooperation is Key

Ravi Kumar, Suresh Menon, and Anjali Patel must help the investigation by providing information and documents when asked. The officer in charge will use these materials to complete the investigation properly.

Case Closed for Now

The court has closed the criminal petition and any related pending petitions. The focus is now on the investigation and the cooperation of Ravi Kumar, Suresh Menon, and Anjali Patel.
