In a recent update from the Bombay High Court, Judge M. M. Sathaye announced changes to the court schedule because of reduced working hours. Here's what happened.
On August 19, 2025, the court announced that work would only continue until 12:30 PM. This change meant that several cases couldn't be heard as planned.
"Because of today’s notice limiting the court work up to 12:30 PM only, the following cases listed in the schedule could not be heard."
Cases numbered 46 to 62 on the court's list were affected. These cases, which are requests for bail before arrest, will be rescheduled.
The postponed cases will now be heard on September 9, 2025. Until then, any temporary protections in place will continue.
"The same shall be rescheduled as per dates/category mentioned in the schedule."
Judge M. M. Sathaye is overseeing these changes, making sure the affected cases are handled properly despite the scheduling issues.
