Quick Summary: A recent court decision involved a piece of land in Kondapur Village. The owners, who wanted to build a house, were asked to promise not to merge their land with another. The court said they must do this to get their building permit.

Who's Involved?

The case was heard by Judge B. Vijaysen Reddy. The landowners, represented by Mrs. Thakur Roopa Singh, bought the land in 2024 and want to build a house on it. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), represented by Mr. G. Madhusudhan Reddy, had some concerns.

The Land Issue

Mrs. Thakur Roopa Singh and her co-owners have the southern part of Plot No.324 in Kondapur Village. They got permission to build a house with parking and two floors. But then, GHMC sent them a letter on October 22, 2025, saying they can't combine their plot with the northern part, which they don't own.

"Mrs. Thakur Roopa Singh and her co-owners are not the owners of the northern part of Plot No.324," said their lawyer.

GHMC's Side of the Story

GHMC argued that the letter was just a precaution. They wanted to make sure Mrs. Thakur Roopa Singh and her co-owners wouldn't build on both plots. They asked for a promise that the building would stay on the southern part only.

"It's just to ensure they stick to the rules," said Mr. G. Madhusudhan Reddy.

What the Court Decided

The court told Mrs. Thakur Roopa Singh and her co-owners they have to give the promise. Once they do, GHMC has to allow them to start building within 21 days.

"Submit the promise, and you can start building," the court ordered.

What's Next?

Mrs. Thakur Roopa Singh and her co-owners agreed to provide the promise. This means they can soon begin their construction, but they must follow the rules set by GHMC.
