Summary: A 72-year-old farmer, Karanam Sathyanarayana, filed a formal request because the police didn't take action on his complaint about a land dispute. The court has now ordered the police to look into it.

The Farmer's Request for Help

Karanam Sathyanarayana, a farmer from Suryapet District, submitted a request against the local police for not taking action. He claimed that even after he complained about a land dispute, no official report was filed.

"The lack of action by the people responsible in taking any steps on the complaint... is wrong."

The Land Dispute Situation

Sathyanarayana bought land in N-Annaram Village and tried to update the records in his name. However, neighbors complained about boundary issues, leading to a heated argument where Sathyanarayana and his family were reportedly attacked.

Complaints Overlooked?

Sathyanarayana accused the local police officer in charge of supporting the attackers by not filing his complaint. He even mailed his complaint when it wasn't accepted in person.

Police Response

The police said there was a disagreement about the boundary, which led them to close the complaint. They suggested Sathyanarayana seek help from a court that deals with property issues.

"The complaint was closed as ‘civil in nature’ and suggested the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum."

Court's Decision

Judge N.V.Shravan Kumar heard the case and told the police to carry out a proper investigation. The court emphasized following the correct steps and encouraged Sathyanarayana to cooperate.

"This request is resolved by directing the authorities to follow the correct steps."

Verdict Summary

The court has intervened to make sure the police investigate the land dispute thoroughly. Sathyanarayana can now hope for a fair resolution to his complaint.
