Quick Summary: Shreem Infra, a company in Mannargudi, asked the court for help to get important paperwork for a highway project. The court in Madras told the officials to give the paperwork by certain dates.

The Case Begins: Shreem Infra's Request

On December 15, 2025, the High Court of Madras, led by Judge N. Sathish Kumar, looked at a case involving Shreem Infra. The company, represented by its managing partner N. Elamurugan, needed the court to tell officials to give them important paperwork for their highway project. This paperwork was related to announcements made on December 1 and December 3, 2025.

Why the Certificates Matter

Shreem Infra needed two specific pieces of paperwork: the Worksite Inspection Certificate and the Plant and Machineries Certificate. These were very important for their project under announcements numbered 11/2025-26 and 23/2025-26. Without these, they couldn't start the work.

"The person asking for help has requested the Worksite Inspection and Plant and Machineries certificates," the court documents noted.

The Government's Response

The Government Lawyer, Mr. S. Rajesh, told the court that the Worksite Inspection Certificate for the first announcement would be given the same day. For the second announcement, the paperwork would be ready by December 18, 2025.

Court's Decision: Certificates to be Issued

Judge N. Sathish Kumar noted the government's promise to give the paperwork. The court ordered that these be provided as promised, making sure that Shreem Infra could continue without further delay.

"The Superintending Engineer must give the paperwork as promised to this Court without fail," the judge stressed.

Locations and People Involved

  • Shreem Infra: Located in Mannargudi, Thiruvarur.
  • Respondents: Superintending Engineer in Madurai and Divisional Engineer in Trichy.

This decision was a relief for Shreem Infra, allowing them to move forward with their project as planned.
