In a recent court case, a dispute over the will of P.L. Meenal ended with the court dismissing the case. The case revolved around whether the will that supposedly left all property to her husband, S. Palaniappan Chettiar, was real or not, leaving out other family members.

The Case Begins

The case was started by S. Palaniappan Chettiar, who wanted official permission to handle his late wife P.L. Meenal's will. The will, dated 25.12.2012, supposedly left everything to him. However, their daughter, S.P. Meena, argued that the will was fake.

Family Feud

Palaniappan said the will was real and signed in front of him. Meena, on the other hand, said the will was fake and made to cheat her and her siblings out of what they should inherit. She noted that the will wasn't officially recorded and the signatures looked suspicious.

"The signature of the person who made the Will and her known signatures on other documents didn't match," said the handwriting expert.

Court Proceedings

Judge Dr. Justice R.N. Manjula was in charge of the case. Evidence was shown from both sides, including statements from witnesses and a handwriting expert. The expert noticed differences in the signatures, adding to the doubts.

Suspicious Circumstances

Several issues raised doubts about whether the will was real: - The will wasn't officially recorded. - The signature of the person who made the will seemed different. - Only the husband got benefits, leaving out other children. - The will was said to be signed in Chennai, but it was supposed to be done in Pudukottai.

Judgment Day

After looking at the evidence, the court found the situation around the will suspicious. Palaniappan couldn't convincingly prove the will was real. The court decided that the will was not genuine and dismissed the case.

"The person who brought the case has failed to prove the Will is real," the judgment stated.

In the end, the court dismissed the case, leaving the family's inheritance unresolved.
