Quick Summary: A court has ordered a land survey in Shamshiguda Village after three people claimed they own the land. The local authorities have 45 days to carry out the survey.
Laiqunisa Begum, Shaik Salam Bin Abdullah, and Mohammad Talha Habeebuddin say they own 3.31 acres of land in Shamshiguda Village. They based their claim on a decision from 2014. They asked for an official survey to mark the boundaries of their land, but the local official in charge didn’t do anything about it.
The government's lawyer, Sri L. Ravinder, said that there has been a legal case about the property since 1958. However, he promised that the request for the survey would be looked at according to the rules.
Judge K. Lakshman told the local official to conduct the survey and mark the boundaries within 45 working days. If they don’t agree to do the survey, they must give a clear reason to Laiqunisa Begum, Shaik Salam Bin Abdullah, and Mohammad Talha Habeebuddin.
"Respondent No.3 shall complete the survey within a period of forty-five (45) working days from the date of receipt of this order."
The court’s order is meant to solve the ownership argument. The local official now has to either complete the survey or give a good reason for not doing it.
This decision shows how important it is to follow the rules in land arguments.
